In the midst of a creative block, I challenged Rebekah Riott (aka Watabou) to write a song in less than 24 hours. She wrote something long, detailed, and emotional, and I came back with... this.
At the time I had put BgO on hiatus so I could learn to write more diverse music and was working on a soundtrack for a fake game called "Emotional Girls' Club". All the songs are MIDI files played back on the Yamaha MU50, a janky synth I am extremely attached to, with Alesis SR-16 providing drums on a few of the earliest songs. I hope I some day finish whatever the heck I think isn't done on it so I can get it out. This song is in that style, only making use of the MU50, and was inspired by Asuka's theme in Evangelion.
